Policies

We value our reputation as a salon that provides not only excellence in technical services, but creates an atmosphere of relaxation and tranquility for all who enter. To that end, we ask that our clients adhere to the following Salon Etiquette and Policies, so that everyone can enjoy a pleasant experience.

Scheduling

Punctual arrival for your appointment is greatly appreciated so that you may receive your full service and our other guests are not inconvenienced by delays. Please arrive 5-10 minutes in advance of your appointment to allow time for you to change into a robe or drape. Please call 703.683.0755 or email the salon at info@aquilanosalon.com to schedule an appointment.

New clients must reserve an appointment using a credit card or by paying a 50% deposit on services to the Beauty Reserve to hold their appointment.

Cancellation Policy

We kindly request that any cancellations be made 72-48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we are happy to waive any charges for your first same-day cancellation. However, for any subsequent occurrences, we will be charging 50% of the service. For no-shows,  100% of the service and a deposit will be required to book another appointment. To avoid any inconvenience, we may ask for your credit card information to hold future reservations.

Beauty Reserve Deposits

Deposits will be credited to your Aquilano Salon account and are exclusively applicable to products and services only. There is no expiration date. Please note that you will not receive anything in the mail, receipts are provided at client request.

Payments

In addition to the beauty reserve the salon accepts Apple Pay, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, checks and cash.

Please note that tips cannot be added to your service ticket. Tips can be paid in cash with the envelopes provided by the front desk, or through Venmo, Paypal, or Zelle (stylist preference).

Main Room

Cellphone Usage

As a courtesy  to our staff and fellow clients we kindly request that all. cell phones be silenced during your visit, and that you move to a private location to make or receive calls.

Refund Policy

At Aquilano Salon we value our clients and want you to love your hair. However, if you are not completely satisfied, we do not offer monetary refunds for services. If you feel that your hair needs have not been met, please contact us within one week from the original service. We will do our best to ensure we find the best solution to help you meet your hair goals. At Aquilano, we believe our clients are the best representation of our work.

Children

Please note that salons can be a dangerous place for unattended children. If under 12, children need to be accompanied by an adult for appointments.
